Alex Truffant painted tattoo flash traditionally. I scanned his artwork and painted mine digitally. It was kind of a test for myself to see if the two worlds could be married.
Max drew his flash on an iPad and mailed it to me from Austria where he own Tattoos to the Max. I colored his line art here in St. Louis.
